Little
Creek Ranch is located on 900 acres of land in the beautiful
rolling hills of Alcorn County, Mississippi. Five hundred
of those acres have been home to the Littles for over
160 years. Ranch owner, Harold Little, his son, Cliff,
and granddaughter, Lainey, are the 5th , 6th and 7th generations
of Littles to call this land home.
Horse
drawn farm equipment is part of the everyday landscape
at the ranch taking you back to a time when families worked
the land from can to cant growing corn,
cotton, hay, wheat and almost everything they ate. Dozens
of vintage tools and kitchen ware, railroad lanterns,
crosscut saws and even a shoo-fly blanket are displayed
in the barn and tell the story of the Littles and other
early settlers.
While the land is steeped in the history of the Little
family, the feel of the Old West is evident from the moment
you enter the ranch. Little Creek Ranch has a barn for
parties and meetings with a replica of western store fronts
and 30 bunks, a regulation size riding arena, horses and
a yearly rodeo. Buffalo and longhorn cattle share the
pastures and produce Beefalo calves as well as Buffalo
and Longhorn calves. Trail rides, fishing, wildlife viewing,
hiking and nature trails are just a few of the activities
you can enjoy when you book your event or during your
stay in the RV Park.
The ranch is convenient to a major 4 lane highway, yet
far enough off the beaten path to offer a peaceful setting
for families and groups to enjoy the great outdoors. Just
a short drive from the ranch tour historic sites, visit
museums and a Civil War battlefield, shop for one-of-a-
kind gifts or ride an authentic paddlewheel riverboat.
We invite you to come home to Little Creek Ranch
to
the call of bobwhites and whippoorwills, beautiful sunrises
and sunsets, to a land rich in the history of the Little
family and a place with the feel of the Old West.
